Innovation is at the heart of Calysta’s business. Every patent has to be new, and our customers come to Calysta because of a new invention. I joined Calysta to get a glimpse of what future technologies will look like, and to interact with passionate innovators!

Innovation is difficult to achieve, as it sometimes takes many iterations to get conclusive results. That’s why I want to help young companies protect their hard work and ensure that it can be valorized by future investors. This means making them aware of patents so that they can protect the value of their work.

For mature customers, it’s easy to miss out on innovation. I want to focus on the innovation aspects for customers who have already reached a certain degree of maturity, so that they can protect their innovation. But we also need to think about the evolution of their field to ensure that they are not blocked by a competitor and can continue to bring value.

So, whatever the customer, innovation remains a key element in the discussion.

My career path has always been guided by innovation, as I always worked in an R&D environment (medical devices and board design)  before joining Calysta
